Privacy notice for online orders
What LamGig Cafe collects when you order and pay on this site, why, who else handles it, and for how long.

Who is responsible
LamGig Cafe takes your order and is responsible for the details you give with it.
Our online ordering runs on LamGig, which stores your order for us and handles it only on our instructions. Payments are processed by Stripe.
What we collect when you order
Your name, so we can call your order at the counter.
Your email address, for your receipt and in case we need to reach you about this order.
Your phone number and a note for the counter, only if you choose to give them.
What you ordered, what it cost and when.
Your card or wallet details go straight to Stripe through its secure payment form. We never see or store your card number.
Why we use it
To make your order and hand it over; to send your receipt (Stripe sends it for us); to sort out a mistake, a refund or a payment dispute; and to keep the sales records the law requires.
We do not use your details for marketing, and we never sell them.
Who else handles it
Stripe processes your payment, sends your receipt and screens payments for fraud. Stripe’s own privacy policy covers the payment details you give it.
Cloudflare runs a quick automatic check that an order comes from a person rather than a bot, which looks at technical details of your browser and connection.
LamGig hosts our ordering system and stores your order for us.
Each of them handles your details only to provide that service.
How long we keep it
Your name, email address and phone number are removed from our order records 12 months after you collect your order. What was ordered and paid is kept, without them, for our accounts.
In your browser
This site keeps your current order, and a private link to your order’s progress, in your browser’s own storage, so refreshing the page doesn’t lose them. It sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
Stripe’s payment form sets its own cookies to help prevent fraud.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. If the law requires us to keep a record, we will tell you which and why.
